英国曼彻斯特大学Zhiguo Ding教授访问电子信息学院开展学术交流

西工大新闻网7月30日电李立欣 梁微 张子赫)应电子信息学院梁微副教授的邀请,英国曼彻斯特大学Zhiguo Ding教授于2018年7月27日上午访问了电子信息学院,并作了题为“非正交多址接入技术:一种适应于下一代通信网络的接入技术转化”的学术报告。本院的部分教师、硕士研究生和博士研究生等30余名师生参加了此次学术报告会。

在报告中,Zhiguo Ding教授介绍了非正交多址接入技术及其应用的最新研究成果和创新。Zhiguo Ding教授首先为我们介绍了NOMA技术的基本思想,技术特点。接着Zhiguo Ding教授介绍了多输入多输出—非正交多址接入(MIMO-NOMA)的研究意义,面临的挑战以及实现该技术的两种方法思路。同时提出了协作非正交多址基本系统模型,利用该技术消除用户可以消除来自其他用户的干扰,然后简要说明了认知无线电和非正交多址接入技术之间的相互影响。最后,Zhiguo Ding教授指出非正交多址接入技术的未来研究方向和要面临的挑战。

通过Zhiguo Ding教授的精彩报告,在场师生对非正交多址接入技术最新的研究方向与成果有了更深入的理解。报告结束后,在场多名师生就相关热点问题同Zhiguo Ding教授展开了热烈讨论。会后,Zhiguo Ding教授参观了先进通信技术研究所,并探讨了双方今后科研合作、人才培养等相关事宜。

Zhiguo Ding教授简介

Prof.Zhiguo Ding received his B.Eng in Electrical Engineering from the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 2000, and the Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering from Imperial College London in 2005. From Jul. 2005 to Apr. 2018, he was working in Queen’s University Belfast, Imperial College, Newcastle University and Lancaster University. Since Apr. 2018, he has been with the University of Manchester as a Professor in Communications. From Sept. 2012 to Sept. 2018, he has also been an academic visitor in Princeton University.

Prof. Ding’ research interests are 5G networks, game theory, cooperative and energy harvesting networks and statistical signal processing. He has been serving as an Editor forIEEE Transactions on Communications, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Networks, IEEE Wireless Communication Letters, IEEE Communication Letters, andJournal of Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing. He was the TPC Co-Chair for the 6th IET International Conference on Wireless, Mobile & Multimedia Networks (ICWMMN2015), Symposium Chair for International Conference on Computing, Networking and Communications. (ICNC 2016), and the 25th Wireless and Optical Communication Conference (WOCC), and Co-Chair of WCNC-2013 Workshop on New Advances for Physical Layer Network Coding. He received the best paper award in IET Comm. Conf. on Wireless, Mobile and Computing, 2009 and the 2015 International Conference on Wireless Communications and Signal Processing (WCSP 2015), IEEE Communication Letter Exemplary Reviewer 2012, the EU Marie Curie Fellowship 2012-2014, IEEE TVT Top Editor 2017, and 2018 IEEE Heinrich Hertz Award.
